✈ Flight Route:
Destination Airport: Gilgit Airport (GIL)
Flights:
Direct flights from Islamabad → Gilgit (daily by PIA)
From Lahore/Karachi → Islamabad → Gilgit (via connecting flight or overnight stay in Islamabad)
Flight Duration:
Islamabad → Gilgit: 1 hr (early morning flights only)
Note: Flights are weather dependent, especially in winter.
5-Day Plan by Air

Day 1: Flight to Gilgit → Drive to Hunza
Same as 4-day plan
Day 2: Full Hunza Exploration
Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, local villages
Evening: Traditional food + local culture experience
Day 3: Day Trip – Attabad Lake, Passu Cones, Hussaini Bridge
Optional: Go further to Sost or Khunjerab Pass (requires full day)
Day 4: Explore Nagar Valley / Hopper Glacier (Optional)
Jeep safari or light trek in Nagar side (Hopper Glacier)

Relax, local sightseeing, shopping

Night Stay: Karimabad or Gilgit (for early flight)

Day 5: Return Flight from Gilgit → Islamabad → Lahore/Karachi
Morning flight Gilgit → Islamabad
Connect to Lahore/Karachi as needed

Flight Bookings: Book early — limited seats
Backup Plan: Flights can be canceled due to weather. Have 1 buffer day if possible
Alternative: If flights cancel — road travel from Gilgit → Islamabad (~12 hrs)
